When you walked away

I admit I cried

Don’t put the blame on me

It’s not all my fault

You know I tried



So I close my eyes

And I can see your face

A memory tears cannot erase

Live and learn

Is what my friends all say

But without you life’s a waste



I see your picture on the wall

I still don’t have the strength

To take it down

There’s a gaping whole
