I wish I could go back and do everything over when it came to you.

I would have fought harder for you, for your love, for us.

I would have done more.

I would have said fuck this life in Texas and went back to you.

But now...

Now you are with someone new.

And my heart breaks every day for the greatest love that I have ever known.

All I can do is hope that one day you will tell me you want me the way you did years ago.

Till then I put on a fake smile and pretend I am not dying inside when someone says your name.
