Steady as the pace goes,
my heart is beats like a thunderstorm.
Ticking slowly, around it goes,
the clock strikes 12:00 and then I'm done.
In and out, just like the tide,
my sanity is washed away.
Up and down, I'm like the sun,
never seasing to amaze,
though like the moon I sit and gloom,
hoping death will meet me someday.
A birth is a life and a life is death,
though death is life today.
The world may change our views on life,
but it will forever remain the same.
