Because of u I’ve been set free

Free from all the drama

Free from all the pain

I have so much to gain



I loved you though

Yes its so

But now I see

You had to go



You played me for a stupid fool

But I didn’t know just what to do

Your feelings I cared for so much

Hurting you just hurt a bunch



Remember when I first met you

Something sparked between us two

I felt it then I feel it now

But the thing say is I don’t know how



You know you were so sweet to me

Its was a front I could not see

You hurt me once

You hurt me twice

Nothing can heal it

Not even ice



But now I learned

To watch and see

Cause caring to much

Can just hurt me



So thank you for this lesson learned

Some more knowledge that I have earned

I am careful about my choice these days

And don’t just listen to what people say
