There’s magic in that name,
He came into my life not long ago,
One special day in 2003,
He said three special words to my mommy that day,
I love you he said,
That was a beautiful day,
So now I can say he’s my step-daddy today,
I was thinking that day,
Is mommy going to be ok?
Is he going to love me for me?
Am I going to be safe?
Is he going to be there when I need to hear things are going to be ok?
He’s here today and things are beautiful,
