I'm scared of the pain
I'm scared of the empty
I'm scared of the black racing train that will get me
I fall on my knees
Get drunk on the moon
And scream "no, no please just don't take me so soon"
But, love, don't you care?
The black train is coming
A billowing nightmare, it all leads to nothing
Hush, now it's here
Close your eyes tight
For the monsters are near if you give into fright
Now don't make a sound
Just look for the light
We'll go round and round through the terrifying night
We're going insane
There's no escape now
Trapped on this train yet no one knows how
So please be wary
Of the train to blackness
For there's nothing as scary as infinite madness
Black Train
WOW, Scary Beautiful. *MilMan*
Black Train:
What an excellent write, coud not stop reading this poem. You could sense the suspense, taught frayed nerves and the creeping, screaming conclusion. Well done missmissy. Love the rhyming too.
