I want to slap you in the face

Call you degrading names

I want to cry

Throw my fists upon the ground

I want to tune out all your sound

Pretend your not even there

I want to scream

Because life isn't fair

But I'll just stand my ground right now

Stand tall and proud

I'll be the bigger person

I won't let my ship sink

I'm stronger than you think

I'll pretend it doesn't hurt

I won't act back

I'm not as pathetic as that

Not as pathetic as you are

I won't let this burst through my rock hard exterior

Because all you do to me

Is so inferior

No one believes your lies

They know you're wrong

And you do too

You just say it to make me less of a threat

But I'm still standing here

Standing strong
