I am young and unknowing
I wonder how my life will turn out
I hear a new life calling out to me
I see my fears vanish before my eyes
I want a family
I am young and unknowing
I pretend I understand life
I feel as though I never will
I touch peoples hearts
I worry I might hurt them
I cry for a man
I am young and unknowing
I understand life is a challenge
I say I am up for it!
I dream about my future
I try not to plan too much
I hope my life turns out well
I am young and unknowing
inspiration..
thanks a lot!! I just figure.. every time i say I am hurt or I give up people say to me "you are still soo young" and I know I am young but I am also very understanding.. I know I don't know everything so I love advice but this is more about not knowing if i know as much as i think I know... or if people are right and I am just a naive and "unknowing" and wanting to turn my life around. Thanks :D
my theory
is life is like a river, the water rises and rushes by or slowly meanders to the sea, the confluence can cleanse ourselves of sin, or drown us in the sorrow, as far as people, I know some older ones who never learn and never will they make the same mistakes over and over. And some younger ones who are as sharp as a stilleto the get it. It is not so much what we know, we never really know everything. You are right about the understanding, that is knowledge. It is about the seeking. The river is a highway of sorts, and the journey is about the veiw, it is about all there is to see as we flow along.
enjoy the cruise

Life is as you so aptly inscribe it, is a “challenge”,
I say, from reading your rationale it is about what the poets and poems’ inspire. You write, you inspire, we read what you write, and we are inspired to respond. Poetry is a powerful exchange of ideas. In addition, ideas, in their order produce confidence and a sense of cathartic foundation. Well written poetry, sustains the critique of poetry, this well written poetry! Well done poet, well done.
