A Withered Flower

This flower withered to nothing but the stem, yet still it takes the light and dazzles. You can tell whats missing just by looking, boys run around with careless feet and these girls glass to that gravity. But they try again, eyes wider then before, standing at the edge, watching that light house with such viger it leaves a sour taste. This flower stands out without a single petal, it still stands tall in the sunlight, and reaches from under the passing feet of these careless boys being boys. She knows if there is a pain such as this, there is a senation that is opposite, and happiness here. So she endures waiting, On the edge watching that light house, withered to nothin but stem, yet somehow she still takes the sunlight and dazzles.
