I wonder if stars make wishes on speeding cars
With eternal light of infinity glowing with a pulse like the life that hums within the murmurs of our hearts
We look up and see the world as we are ;
Opinions and observations of the origin of the stars
But those who need not wish already know who we are ;
Tumbling thru the sky with anticipation engaging our wings to let ourselves soar
Take a breath in and think of where you are ;
The stars only percieved to wish on the brightest and fastest of them all
With their light guiding us
We turn off our cars-
Sit in the grass to cherish our breathing and forgive our past of faded scars
I've always wondered what it would feel like to be a star
At that moment it will begin
Be a wish
Even if it feels far
Because the stars shed no light on a speeding car
Just to relish in the beauty of each beating heart.
This is
one of the best poems I've read in a very long time.
This is the poetry of universal essence. This is "IS", " "I"nsprirationally "S"urging" I am beyond words.
This poem is what I like to refer to as Astronomical Poetry

Thank you for such a
Thank you for such a wonderful comment. It's taken me a while to come up with this poem. A lot of star gazing and realizing I cannot see some stars because of all the speeding cars. Everwhere you are and everything you see is poetry.
