The life you carry inside

Is a miracle indeed

But now consider my words

This message you better heed



Help it when it's in need

And love that child forever

Show it mercy when it cries

This wisdom you must remember



For you're that child's mother

And it will look up to you

Offer advice in troubled times

And always watch what you do



No more drinking or smoking

I'm not trying to be mean

Just a helpful reminder

They're smarter than they seem



But most important of all

Love that child VERY much

Aim to be "The Perfect Mother"

And always have a tender touch
