Dance with hands waving above your eyes
retarded in blinkered memories never sorely missed
but upheld with an aligators tooth
pressed to the dainty jugular
Spanked words fought and tripped
headfirst tumbled from a liars mouth
and a petulant pause pretends to be enchanted
but darkens in remembering like a lizards tail scurrying past sweeping away times tranquil sweetened dust
Blank eyes look heaven bound in vacant empty worship
never seeing just blinded by the light
that they whisper to in silent prayer
and water with saline sympathy
Meandering mercy surrounds her children
draping them in Earths response
earthquake volcano erupted tidal wave
somehow we salute her and crab-like side step away
from trouble from thought
into darkened decay
not remembering yesterday
as scarred from today
tomorrows promise tainted with fairy dust hopes
sprinkled in majesty and served up on a bed of dope.
We try to anaesthetise ourselves lock our empathy away
put it in pandoras box as we desecrate today.
Let's open up our energy and share our love
with all nations, facially impaired, alien and enemies.
Let's take a lesson from the good man up above!
