like a cloud man

I wandered lonely like a cloud man

That trips high o'er dales and hills,

When all at once I saw the cosmos

I tripped looking at the daffodils

my mind spilt into thousands

of multicolored fragments

the universe ripped open

Psychedelic man,

Beside the lake, beneath the trees,

Fluttering and dancing in the breeze.

Continuous as the stars

I was  Knocking on Heavens Door

swirling changing hues that I can touch and peruse

that shine and twinkle on the Milky Way,

Champagne flutes dance as the daffodils play.

For oft, when on my couch I lie

To go back to that trip I pray

Author's Notes/Comments:

I was challenged to write in the style of Wordsworth about an acid trip, so here goes.I must say I have never taken or condone drug taking, However I have researched on the web, this is how I imagine a trip to be.
