"Your loss"

“Your Loss”

Sitting here minding my business; all of a sudden the phone rings and it’s you.

I barely want to see your face, let alone hear your voice; what am I supposed to do?

Things used to be different; I remember when you could do no wrong.

But; lately your company is annoying, and I’d prefer to be alone.

Yes I used to love you; yes you used to be my heart.

But; after realizing the feeling wasn’t mutual, we agreed to be apart.

We obviously weren’t meant for one another; our relationship is a lesson learned.

I find it hard to deal with you, in a sense I’m like a bridge you’ve burned.

My love used to be yours, but you neglected me and abused it.

Soon you’ll own someone else’s love; be sure to cherish it or like mines you’ll LOSE it!!!
