There are two sides
to every story,
but we are blinded
by our version.

We try to make sense
of another's actions
and are usually wrong.

We think how we would act
if we were in their shoes,
but we don't know
other people's intentions.

We spend so much time
assuming they meant to hurt us
that we never give them
the benefit of the doubt.

Sometimes the reason
is something so simple
as a misunderstanding.
