Society I hate all the legalism,
our churches are about favoritism
even though he loved
the least of these.
Why are we out to condemn
when we were meant to forgive?
Why can’t we mend
and reach out to give?
Shouldn’t this be about love?
Isn’t that what the Lord above
taught in His word?
Church bodies are divided,
dominated by denominations
instead of sealed with his mercy.
With our actions,
we silence our witness,
when we should confess
we’re just fractions of Him
that become a whole when we’re together.
