Don’t sit there idling,
studying sideways glances
and wrinkled foreheads.

Pick yourself up from the floor
right there where you fell.

All eyes are on you;
show them something
they’ve never seen before.

Live a life worth following.
Give them a reason for breathing.

Prove to them there’s more
than this dog-eat-dog existence;
we’re striving for a place far away.

Heaven’s the goal, not this earth.
We’re just here for a season.

This life is temporary,
but the decisions made here
carry into eternity.

Today is all we have right now.
Don’t let it pass you by.

You have everything to lose
so don’t give up the fight yet;
raise your fists up and conquer today.
