God (Inspired by) Lord, help me;
I can’t do this
without You.
I am nothing
apart from You…
a heartbeat
devoid of a heart,
a breath trapped
in congested lungs.
Lord, be my strength;
on my own,
I am so weak.
Spirit willing
but my flesh is frail.
I need You to supply me
with self-control
and resolve.
Draw close to me;
call my heart to Yours.
Amen.
