The metaphor of the upside down tree is an ancient
Sanskrit one...
Sanskrit, the mother of all Biblical languages (Aramaic
Hebrew Greek Latin) has been described by Judge William
Jones as 'more perfect than Latin more copious than
Greek and more exquisitely refined than either'
Without needing to cite the history of ancient languages, I can still say this poem is exquisitely beautiful, and the metaphor is perfect.
