Letter to My Lover

Dear my lover, Sin:

It has been several months
since you've satisfied me
the way a lover should.

Then why do I return to you?

The only pleasure you give me
is this release of tears
that follows your pathetic
attempt to please me.

Why do I seek satisfaction
from the one who is
incapable of gratifying me?

Do I not see the man
who will wait for me
until our marriage vows?

He is standing on the outskirts
of this unholy bed
urging me to stop loving Sin.

I desperately need to stop
loving the man who
will never show me love
outside of this dirty act.

Love,
the one who hates you
with a passion
you could never match.
