We Are Broken

Folder:
Dedications

We are broken,

you and I.

But my brokenness

does not mirror yours

in all its facets.

You have a supportive family

that I cannot relate to.

While you have faced

rejection I know

nothing about.

But your heart is made of

the same material as mine.

You hurt like I do;

your tears flow just the same.

So please hold my hand

and let's vow to not

bring more pain to each other.

We can start healing

from our brokenness together.
