Learning from the Past I wish to return to
the innocence of days past.
To the times where
daily stresses
were non-existent.
We didn't worry about
what people thought of us;
only our best friends mattered.
We didn't have to work;
our lives revolved around play.
We were happy with ourselves
not consumed by self-hate.
Oh to the simpler days,
what a memory to ponder.
