please take away
these lustful eyes.
Never once did
they look away
from temptation.
I believed the lie
that I was too broken to save.
I thought I was
beyond your grace.
But your grace reaches
even the darkness places.
You healed the lame,
restored vision to the blind.
You are in the business
of forming miracles.
Oh that you would
touch my face
like you did in the gospels.
Oh that you would remove
this distorted vision
and grant me new eyes.
