Poetry is a release.
It's not a job,
or a hobby,
or a way to become known.
It's a faucet opened wide.
If it doesn't flow naturally,
then you can't call it poetry.
It should burst out
of your heart without effort.
Your pain turned into poetry.
If you kept it inside,
you would lose your mind.
It's your soul on a paper
or on a computer screen.
It's everything that
screams and cries within you
flooding the page.
For what more is poetry,
except for diary entries
with line breaks and
rhyme schemes.
