Her smile is strangled;
her tears are drowning her.

She once had a spark in your eye
but it has since burned out.

It kills him to see her in pain.
He'd do anything to take it away.

He wants her to show him
the broken parts of her.

He wants to love her so maybe
she will see she's worthy of love.

He wants to change the meaning of her life:
to prove she was made for more than pain.
