I lost control of the sails
as I fought against the wind.
I drifted while the waves crashed,
carried by the rolling tide.
My ship started sinking;
I began to drown within myself.
The salt water stung my eyes;
the darkness crept into my heart.
I forget you were my captain;
you could silence the storm.
