The Fear of Success

Society Everyone has phobias.
For some it is public speaking;
for others it is spiders.
While a few have irrational fears
like clowns or crowds.
But a common fear is
the fear of failure.
We do not only fear failure.
We fear succeeding
and the expections that arise
from success.
We fear that we can not live up
to own success.
But we should not fear success.
We should fear succeeding
at something that matters little
in the grand scheme of life.
