in the whole world

so said Jesus.

Do not put your lamp

under the bowl

it soon dies of suffocation.



Be my role model

for i watch your

every step

you either drive the dusk

out of my heart

or envelope me with night.



Be a beacon of light, my kin

upon which

i light my path.
