Night clouds innocence
But light from some golden dawn
persists in my memory.
The sun, on its path
Caresses the furrows of my face.
And to a journey of self-soul-searching
i go, acknowledge wisdom
That can pierce the darkness
Like God`s eye on the world?
Say your word, it travels
to horizons edge.
And it matters not
where they go.
At their mute ends
meet the ways
in infinite embrace.
Let's exchange our old flowers
the ones we exchanged in love.
Lure me once more, darling
to the bright plain
of your heart, let's have
a mutual kiss of sunrise.
For me, the following are powerful and highly meaningful lines; "Say your word, engrave it on granite ..." Indeed, this line defines the enchanting essence of "Memory of light persists". I am enriched for being here this new day, Milton! Ugonna
