D
We'd go down to the market.
G
I cut almost all of my hair
D
we'd stop by at starbucks
A
the one with purple chairs.
---Let it ring and immediately go on to fast chordes for the next part of the verse---
Have a cigarette or two
we'd talk and we'd laugh
at everything that's gone on
at present and past
If we'd have known what was coming
think we'd have smiled,
as much as we did?
At least it lasted a while
ooh and we'd walk forever.
Too cheap to catch a cab.
And.. oh yes, I remember
the starbucks, cigarettes and purple chairs
My hair was disfigured
not beautiful at all
but we didn't care
'cause we just wanted more
of whatever we wanted
at that point in time
we each wanted love of a different kind
late October, fancy dress
You were pixie in a
green corset
Starbucks, cigarettes and purple chairs
is a better memory of you
I'd go back if I could and
keep all my hair
I liked it better long anyways
I'd tell you I'm sorry
for what I knew was coming
we'd never last this way.
Yeah starbucks cigarettes and purple chairs
is a better memory of you
we were young and hun we still are
we're young and we're niave fools
We're immature, plastic and stubborn, but bold
we're the next generations broken tools
Starbucks, cigarettes and purple chairs
it's a better memory of you, yeah
Starbucks, cigarettes and purple chairs.

I like this piece, the emotion and memories are great. We have starbucks by me too with purple chairs but you are not allowed to smoke in in. Mass doesn't allow smoking in a lot of places but hey the coffee is great there even if a bit pricey. Thanks for signing my guest books and your wonderful comments about my work,it touches me deeply..
