When You are Alone

When you are all alone,

When all the worlds seem to be gone,

Don’t you ever worry,

Just add wings to the sweetest memory.

When your teardrops are about to fall,

When the sky doesn't echo my call,

Close your eyes,

You will surely know love never dies.

When you are all alone,

Think about my kiss, all your sorrow will appear unknown.

Author's Notes/Comments:

In the poem, the girl misses the speaker and it goes without saying that he does so as well. At times, she feels extremely alone and gets frustrated. When disappointment clouds her inner world, then it seems to her that all the planets are falling apart. It is the very moment when the lover makes his presence felt and keeps on inspiring her.
