Mizaru covers his eyes,

Intentionally to see no evil,

Kikazaru envelops his ears to avoid evil words,

Iwazaru covers up his mouth to speak no evil!

Goodness is all they preach,

Not through the words,

But through their pictorial emblem,

For the betterment of mankind they show the way!

The monkeys cease to be icons of joke,

Mainly when we think of the three wise monkeys!
