But his legacy did not,
His masterpieces make us cry,
Not less but a lot!
I wish I could ask Sophocles,
Why he had written “Oedipus the King”!
A tragedy that seems to tear the heart off!
Giving pain as that of the death’s sting!
Sophocles will continue to live on,
Future will revive him from the era bygone!
