A calved wood,
Which carried the wounded?
Carrying the weight,
Caused by the world,
Controlled by the wicked,
Who confused the woman.
A symbol of sorrow,
Where the son was sold,
To salvage the sick,
And save the sinner,
From the stronghold of Sin,
And the strength of Satan.
A bridge to redemption
A ladder to salvation,
A stair to justification,
A pillar of sanctification,
A track to perfection,
A pavement of glorification.
