What truly makes you special is that twinkle in your eye
a twinkle that outshines any star
a twinkle that can make the biggest brute cry
a twinkle that can produce an everlasting scar

One simple glance my way
a simple look my way
thats all it takes for me to sway
and eventually fade away

Its that glance that makes my hands shake
its what makes me want more and more
while my heart may ache
because i know deep down in my core

You could never be mine
Your just a dream i can not obtain
So i say to myself i will be just fine
Even though i tremble in my own pain

Yet i still say to myself that maybe one day
that simple glance will be followed with a bright smile
and maybe i might have the courage to walk your way
and be able to tell you that you are beautiful
