My uncle´s tv

Through all that holidays, vacations and casual visits, my uncle’s tv has been part of my life. Big, squared and heavy, are the best descriptions for it. Ten years ago, my uncle bought this television with the purpose of entertaining me and my brother when we came to visit, because we visit him many times in the year. Even though he lives far from my hometown, we are very close and we have a tradition to watch movies every single night in my stay. Yes, we love to watch movies, every day we rent or buy a new one and watch it that day at night. A few years ago when he was cleaning up his room, a tube fall into the screen a broke a part of it, but that did not stopped us from watching our movies. Every time we saw it we complaint about the hole in the screen, but after a movie or two, we get used to it. All types of genres have passed through this peculiar television, from action to horror, romantic to suspense, and mystery to dramas. The important thing for me is that we don’t really care which movie is, the point is to be together and spend a good time. This tv has been in many different places because my uncle move very often of house, at the beginning it was on his house in downtown Queretaro, then he put it in a friend’s house because he had no more space, now he is back living in my grandparents’ house and is now in the basement. Last summer I went to Queretaro and stayed for a few days and felt very happy because  after all of these years the tradition stills going. Sometimes we don’t watch a movie, but this cases are very rare, just when we have a holiday dinner or a family reunion in my grandparent’s house. Now that my uncle is leaving there, it’s easier for us to see the movies, before we had to go to my uncle’s house and sometimes it was very late to start the movie. We love to watch movies, and spend time together, I hope this tradition last forever and I plan to do the same with my nephews.
