Life's Eternal Flow

Though the light may wander away,
Time keeps moving in a slow and smooth sway,
The river of life erupts and flows,
To where it goes, no one knows,
But everyone rides it in the end,

Some things may get lost in the river,
Things that make you sad and quiver,
But the things you don’t lose will stay,
And keep you from drifting out the bay,

So stay the course of the stream,
No matter how sad or depressing it seems
You’ll reach your goal in the end
Then all your lost things will be there to attend.
