Ideas

Give me an idea to believe in,
something messy as a trash bin,
so I would shuffle through all night,
from rubble to an awesome kite.

Give me an idea to believe in,
something subtle as a shark fin,
so I would venture the unknown,
from waters to the sky I'd've flown.

Give me an idea to believe in,
something evil as a grim sin,
so I would try to right all wrongs,
from requiem to noble songs.

Give me an idea to believe in,
something virgin as a pale skin,
so I would take off to the sun,
through vivid rainbows I'd've spun.

Give me an idea to believe in,
something foolish as a ball spin,
so I would stretch to kick it back,
from highway to a winding track.

Give me an idea to believe in,
nothing to dictate me all through life,
so I would never dare start askin',
what marvel I was meant to strive.
