The Survivors

The sun came up that morning over an Earth that was devastated. All of the buildings had crumbled to the ground, all of the lakes, rivers, and oceans had dried up, and all of the people were gone. On a lonely, flat, endless plain you could see a lone horse walking in the distance. The horse walked over hard sand and dirt. All grass, trees, and plants were gone. Also in the distance, far away from the horse, there was a lone Saint Bernard dog walking in the distance. The dog was injured and limped. The horse and dog approached each other. “Are you hurt badly?” asked the horse.
The dog said, “What happened to everything? Where is everyone? I was knocked out and fell unconscious”? The horse answered, “Everyone is gone, and there are no more people or animals on Earth I think we are the only ones left here.” The dog so sad reply to him, “I can’t believe this, but what happened to everyone? ¿Where are you going to? The horse answered, “I don’t know where are I am heading to I was searching for any survivors, do you want to join me? “The dog answered “yes”.
These two animals walk their way to the distance, in search of any survivors or any clues of what happened to Earth. Suddenly they find a ship surrounded by many animals that were guarding the ship. The horse and the dog didn’t believe what they were seeing. Both of them knew that the animals on that ship were the cause of the tragedy that happened on the Earth. They knew they were the only ones that could save the Earth of being saved. The horse thing of an idea that was: the dog injured would distract the guardians and could become one more of “them”. So he could get inside the ship to know who were they and what they were plotting. The horse was waiting outside so he could get some sign of the dog, but he get the worse of the signs he could get. The leader of the ship who was a Lion, walk outside the ship with the dog by his side, the dog was cured , and they knew were the horse was, they started to chase him and despite all the efforts that the horse could make to run away from them, they found him and make him one of them. The horse and the dog became part of them and however they tried to avoid the end of the world they couldn’t and became part of the evil side. The bad animals destroyed the Earth and this became the end for every living thing on Earth.
