My last cordial goodbye

You told me to be strong,

but just i'm too weak to apply.



I called you one day,

to see if you were alright.

She answered..she told me.

I've been crying since that night.

all the questions left unanswered

all the love was left behind

that one heartbreaking day...

emptiness was defined.



I need to talk to you again...

this is my chance, and i'll do my best.

i need to get this last thing

off of my chest..

i want to say i'm sorry

and i am to blame..

i'm the one who caused you

to experience all your pain



now your forever part of me,

your name carved in my arm

god if you were here with me...

I'd protect you from all harm.

you taught me everything

i could ever hope to know.
