What is it that we find
to our liking?
What do we fantsy?
Is it the career?
The money?
The things that can
temporarily make us happy?
At the end of the day,
isn't it about the person
who stands before you?
With or without these things?
Where is the substance?
The depth of the person,
more than any mere possession.
Where does that slope start?
Where do we decide what is
trully good,
Comparing it to what looks good?
How do we move from this
dilemma that plagues are minds,
and take a look at the answers
that stare us in the face.
We know what is good,
and can discern what looks good.
Yet we still choose to make that
bad decision.
How do we overcome our desires,
and get a grip on
the epic battle
of needs verses wants.
