This ship is ready to sail.
Leaving the harbor for
an adventure into the unknown.
The map is drawn out,
destination are penciled in,
but not knowing if I would stop.
The sails are ready to drop,
I maneuver to remove the lines
keeping the boat tied at the dock.
I push off, ready to depart.
Moving back to the helm,
I look back to the docks.
A figure runs along the
wooden structure.
Waving their arm,
trying to flag me down.
When at least I hear a shout.
I know that voice.
I know what this means,
she's ready to go with me.
love this!
