It all started out
Like a fun little game
In a look, a smile
The tone of my name
Then things got deeper
Who was I to complain?
The smiles and the looks
Near drove me insane
Then came a kiss
All soft and sweet
Your eyes were filled
With lust and heat
I fell too hard
Too fast to keep track
And now that I’m here
There’s no turning back
Eyes will watch
But who cares what they think?
Here, in this place
I found my missing link
And now I feel loved
Cherished, complete
I’ve waited so long
For our paths to meet
Now life is so good
How could it not be?
With our hearts interlocked
Like good company
