Sonnet #1

Folder:
I Write Sonnets

I watched as the wind whipped through the willows,
And the clouds danced through the sky, too blue.
Every movement reminds me of you,
Every tear that stains my pillows.
I long for your touch once more,
Because love really doesn’t know distance,
And sometimes for an instance,
I can feel your invisible touch to my core.
I once questioned whether I could do this,
And I tossed and turned at night,
Pictures of you and I brought fright,
But now I just want a million more for a kiss,
And here I lay without you, miles and miles away.
