It almost seems like I will wake any minute,
That my life is a beautiful dream,
No one can have all the riches of love as I do,
Life taught me nothing is as good as it can seem.
I am on a Homecoming float,
I am Peter Pan and my date has a hook,
I am making my own Prom dress,
And my smile makes everyone turn and look.
But I feel that any moment,
The world will turn on me,
Like for my happiness there must be atonement,
Don't think I can't see the cracks.
But for now I am happy,
Can pretend nothing is wrong,
Can stay in this dream for longer,
And cover my ears with song.
But any minute this dream will end,
And I will be left with reality,
And up to the land of broken dreams will this one send,
But for now, hello my dream.
Jealousy
I'm still jealouse that you went with a gay guy. but then I turned around and went with a gay guy too.
~~We can fade away together one dream at a time.~~
