Lost and gone forever,
Singing songs long forgotten,
The child that went missing,
The child of the night.

Stolen, carried, ran away,
Only one rumor stays the same,
Gone was the boy,
The child of the night.

Maybe he was taken by fairies,
And maybe will be seen again,
All just wishful thinking all because,
The child in the night.

Gone is my child,
The boy that I knew best,
Away into the darkness,
The child of the night.
