It started way back in elementary school

Back when we were both so fucking cool

Days went on, we both kind-a fell apart

You don't know it, you still have my heart.



You were the one who taught me to kiss

The one who said, "Put your lips like this"

Funky how we aren't together anymore

You'd always kick ass, if I was called a whore.



We were so cute together.  Just you and I

We swore we'd be together until we die

I laugh when I think how little we were

Back when we'd believe what we heard.



I was twelve you were eleven

I thought that was my heaven!

When you were with me, I had no fears

You'd always wipe away my tears.



Three years later, I think of you

Wondering if you think of me too

We went our separate ways, so much time lost

It's like a ship at sea being tossed.



I smile when I realize how happy I was before

And wondering if I'll find love, maybe more

I can't believe I let you get away

I want you back here, to this very day.
