Sitting here with the thoughts of missing you

Look up at the sky and know you miss me too

Remembering each sweet kiss and every song

I wonder so many times how nothing was wrong

Sitting here with the couples, I look around

I bow my head as a tear falls to the ground

Knowing I miss you and can't have you here tonight

I just hope, where you are, you are doing alright.



I woke up last night, I had a crazy dream

I wondered all day of what it means

I don't know if I can make it without you here

Without your soft hand to wipe awy my tears.

I know it's a hard life and I'm here all alone

Sometimes it's just so hard to go on;

But I look up at that beauitful sky so blue

And know you miss me too.



I know we'll be together as soon as you come back home to me

I don't know right now of what our future just might come to be

But, I know you'll make up for our time spent away

And you'll be there to hold me each day.
