Two Teenage Lives

Torn between our own lies

Two messed up teen lives

Secrets hidden in our hearts

Pasts that won't drift apart

Two kids feeling lost and confused

Mental images beat us til we're bruised

Toughts fill our minds til we're weak

Mouths that work, yet we don't speak.

Keeping thoughts from our parents who

Never know of things that we go through

We go on, we, laugh, and play

Thinking life is casted away

Both kind of dark in our own minds

We get along, we're two of the same kind

Scars we hide, voices we shake

Shadows remind us of our mistakes.

We know some truth about the question why

Laying awake at night wishing we would die

What should we say? What can we do?

Maybe this is just me and you?

We just met, but I be we're friends

Some odd reason, the message you send.

Remind me of how, tell me I am alright

We'll make it through another horrific night.

Author's Notes/Comments:

Kind of a weird thing of why I wrote this.  A guy asked me to write him a poem, his name is Nathan.  So I figured what the hay.  I just met him so it's kind of wierd. =)  Haha. Friends come randomly sometimes.
