cannot live together
They are mutually exclusive
When there is jealousy
love is pushed aside
When you feel fear and pain
love is asking "But why?"
But when you give true love
to another
you feel joy for everything
that person is and does
You rejoice in their happiness
and have compassion
for their sadness
You "give" love
rather than "have" love
Love given without expectations
and conditions is love
in its purest form
It is the mortar that holds
together lovers and friends
